HII so intersex conditions are very under researched and intersex people especially those who were then assigned female later on are very ignored by medical professionals. some intersex people were also operated on wrongfully at birth to make them fit the gender binary, meaning they may grow up and have to come to conclusions about their own bodies alone due to a lack of support. it doesn’t bother me when people figure out they’re intersex by themselves because medical discrimination is very real. what i don’t like is when people think it’s okay to claim to be intersex with no symptoms of any conditions and no real social or personal struggles; i don’t like people who just want to use the label online to seem quirky or to use shi/hir pronouns. but since there’s no way of knowing who is faking and who isn’t, i generally extend support to every self diagnosed intersex person ^.^

complex DID generally includes a lot of amnesia and heavy time loss if untreated! for me personally, my host is also always frontlocked, but this isn’t a feature of DID that’s exclusive to it. osdd1a also involves a frontlocked host! i am diagnosed with c-DID and i experience heavy amnesia and a lot of time loss, even when i don’t switch! i think your experience leans more towards osdd1a or even partial DID. i hope this helps at least a bit!!

HIII usually it’s because i only have a few alters who actually work on my stuff !! usually it’s my main host and a few co hosts and my co hosts usually tend to do whatever my main host is doing since they know my main host will just change everything anyway if it doesn’t fit what they want ^.^ my main host personally never leaves front fully so they’re always around having influence over other alters

sidesystems are systems adjacent to the main system. this is usually in cases of very complex trauma and there are amnesia barriers usually entirely preventing communication and memory between the two systems, though it’s still just one person with DID. subsystems can present in usually two ways: either an alter appears to have their own system, meaning that they have their own alters who can only front when the host of the subsystem is in front, OR a subsystem can be a group of alters who have very little communication with the rest of the system and are generally considered separately from the rest of the system. layers are, essentially, what they’re called: layers of alters. certain layers may have more access to information than others, and generally alters can’t communicate with alters on other layers. gatekeepers or internal helpers may be able to communicate across layers and have more control over which layer has access to certain information, but take that with a grain of salt! my experience is quite specific.

hii it was mainly several host changes !! my main host has changed a few times since i used pink and black and i mainly only do it now for the sake of my image. black and white fits my current aesthetic more ^.^ before this i was actually using red and black too !!

i definitely agree with you !! your feelings aren’t ever stupid either i wholeheartedly agree about shortening names to avoid criticism too, ive always felt this way and i actually used to know someone who shortened kazuha to kaz for this very reason !! i always thought it was very strange at the time and i did call them out for it back then too

hiii as a korean person i do find it strange especially when it’s non asian people who don’t intend on integrating into an asian culture !! i find it really uncomfortable when people use my language and the names that originate from it personally when they haven’t experienced the racism and societal experiences that you get from being asian in a predominantly white community and also just from saying you’re asian online. being east asian is highly fetishised by certain people online too and it feels weird to me that someone who isn’t asian would want people online to assume they are ^^ i hope this makes sense !! also, a lot of names have important meanings that a lot of people tend to ignore when they try and use those names when they aren’t asian. it’s disrespectful to the cultures
