this happens to me occasionally !! (or at least it appears so) let me explain. generally, i find it’s because even if im not personally aware of an external trigger, my brain may have perceived one regardless, thus causing a switch that seems like it occurred for no reason. however, the idea you described of positive triggers is generally not a thing that occurs. in my experience i have never had an alter switch in due to a positive reason. you’re right that some things may help an alter be closer to front, but something like that is never the sole reason for an alter switching in ^.^

unfortunately i have i’m sorry to hear you’re struggling too, it’s really cruel what people do online. when it was really bad for me i took a step back from all my socials for months and tried to live my life surrounded only by the people who care about me. by the time i came back those people harassing me had gotten bored and moved on

HII so i don’t know a lot about okegom but generally as i’ve gotten older ive learnt to not expend my energy based on what media people consume. i don’t agree with a lot of certain topics that specific problematic medias portray, largely due to those topics being presented badly. however, i am a fan of some problematic media so i would be a hypocrite to go out and make it my business what things other people are into. i block people i don’t agree with and i think id ignore okegom fans and the like to be honest

HII so intersex conditions are very under researched and intersex people especially those who were then assigned female later on are very ignored by medical professionals. some intersex people were also operated on wrongfully at birth to make them fit the gender binary, meaning they may grow up and have to come to conclusions about their own bodies alone due to a lack of support. it doesn’t bother me when people figure out they’re intersex by themselves because medical discrimination is very real. what i don’t like is when people think it’s okay to claim to be intersex with no symptoms of any conditions and no real social or personal struggles; i don’t like people who just want to use the label online to seem quirky or to use shi/hir pronouns. but since there’s no way of knowing who is faking and who isn’t, i generally extend support to every self diagnosed intersex person ^.^

complex DID generally includes a lot of amnesia and heavy time loss if untreated! for me personally, my host is also always frontlocked, but this isn’t a feature of DID that’s exclusive to it. osdd1a also involves a frontlocked host! i am diagnosed with c-DID and i experience heavy amnesia and a lot of time loss, even when i don’t switch! i think your experience leans more towards osdd1a or even partial DID. i hope this helps at least a bit!!

HIII usually it’s because i only have a few alters who actually work on my stuff !! usually it’s my main host and a few co hosts and my co hosts usually tend to do whatever my main host is doing since they know my main host will just change everything anyway if it doesn’t fit what they want ^.^ my main host personally never leaves front fully so they’re always around having influence over other alters
